Bibi & Dara

Bibi and Dara are a very enthusiastic dancing couple, they are very excited to share their love for the music and dance

Bibi has been dancing for 25 years, but only when she discovered swing and blues, she found her true “perfect match” and fell in love with it.

The overwhelming passion for music and dance quickly became a one-way ticket to the world. She is a well-known face on the international scene, she travels all around Europe, USA and Asia to deepen her knowledge, teach, share and spread all of her love for lindy hop and blues dancing.

What Bibi loves the most are the vastness of music as well as the creativity, the freedom of expression and the deep communication with the music and the partner in the dance.

She has given birth to several communities of blues dancers in Italy, she teaches weekly courses and workshops both in lindy hop and blues dance and if you can’t find her on the dance floor, she’s probably nerding out on songs or investigating the history of the music!

Dara's love of dancing started with moving to the latin rhythms growing up in the Caribbean, but he fell in love with Lindy Hop in Aberdeen in 2009, and fell in love again with Blues at a workshop just 6 months later. He is absolutely thrilled to be coming back to his home scene where he started his dance and teaching journey.

Dara loves the breadth of blues and swing music, the range of emotional expression, and the playfulness in connection. He now teaches Blues Dance, Lindy Hop, Authentic Jazz, blues DJing and blues history both in his home scene in Valencia, Spain; and at international dance events.

Rob & Tina

Rob and Tina have been teaching and performing together for over a decade. In addition to teaching weekly classes in Leeds, they regularly teach at weekend events around the UK (and occasionally further afield). Their classes often focus on core technique, lead-follow connection, and social dancing skills. They strive to give dancers a deeper understanding of the dance beyond just learning moves to help them develop their own style and have better dances with any partner.

For more information about Rob and Tina, you can visit the Swing Dance Leeds website and watch one of their YouTube videos.
