Classes

We hold regular classes every Monday and Wednesday evening during the University Term time (1st Term starting in September 2021). Come and join us to learn some kick-ass moves to show off on the dance floor, meet like-minded people, and become part of the UK Swing and Blues dancing scene! No dance experience or partner is required. The first class is always free and open to both students and non-students, so feel free to drop by!

BEGINNERS LINDY HOP & CHARLESTON

Did you watch Hellzaboppin' and don't know where to start? This class will take you from zero to swing in just a few weeks. No partner is needed.

IMPROVERS LINDY HOP & CHARLESTON

This class is aimed at those who have already taken our beginners class for at least a semester, are comfortable with a swing out, and are ready to go onto the next level!

BEGINNERS BLUES

What's that slow, delicious dance that everyone does after midnight? Blues, of course! This class covers all levels of experience, from curious to "I've got the Blues and there's no way back".

SHAG

Fancy something a bit quicker and more energetic? Then Shag is perfect for you!

SOCIALS

Not technically a class, but once a week we meet up for some social dancing, to try out new moves and practice old ones, and most importantly talk and have fun (we promise we are a social bunch!).
